An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy NHS service in Central London. This is a part-time role offering 2 days per week with an immediate start.

The Role:

You will be working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, managing a varied caseload and delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions. Duties will include:

• Completing comprehensive functional assessments
• Supporting discharge planning and facilitating safe, timely discharges
• Assessing for and recommending appropriate equipment and adaptations
• Working with patients to maximise independence in activities of daily living
• Conducting home visits where required
• Liaising closely with physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, and medical staff
• Providing advice and education to patients, families, and carers
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with HCPC standards

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Previous NHS experience at Band 6 level
• Strong assessment and discharge planning skills
• Experience within acute, community, or rehabilitation settings
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
