Band 7 MSK Physiotherapist – Peterborough

We are currently seeking a Band 7 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join a dynamic and supportive team based in Peterborough. The role is community-based and offers flexibility in working hours to suit your needs, with full-time or part-time opportunities available

Location: Peterborough, Community-Based
Position: Full-time (Part-time options available)
Pay: £28-30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Flexible between 08:00 – 18:00

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Management:
• Manage a mixed caseload of musculoskeletal outpatients referred through self-referral, primary care, First Contact Physiotherapists, and hospitals.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and create individualised treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and support for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
• Clinical Skills & Patient Care:
• Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced clinical reasoning skills to develop effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Educate patients on managing their conditions and improving their musculoskeletal health.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, consultants, and other physiotherapists, to ensure seamless care.
• Contribute to team discussions and share knowledge to enhance the service provided.
• Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with legal and professional standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience as a physiotherapist with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and provide both hands-on treatment and education to patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
• The ability to work autonomously, prioritizing workload and managing time effectively.
• Experience in community-based physiotherapy services is desirable.
