What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 7 Acute Paediatric Occupational Therapist who works with children in an acute healthcare setting including hospital or specialized units, addressing their immediate physical, cognitive, and emotional needs related to illness, injury, or surgery.

 In this role, the OT is responsible for providing highly specialized, evidence-based interventions to support the child’s recovery, restore function, and promote their participation in daily activities.

 A Band 7 OT generally has a high level of expertise, often supervising and mentoring junior staff, and playing a key role in service development and leadership within the team.

1. Assessment and Evaluation

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a current and valid HCPC registration
  • experience working with Children in an acute setting
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care 

 

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday – Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
