Join our team as a Band 7 Surgical Occupational Therapist Team Lead and make a meaningful impact within an inpatient surgical setting. In this role, you will:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments within a surgical inpatient caseload
Lead and supervise the OT team to ensure high standards of care and service delivery
Create and implement personalised care and discharge plans
Deliver evidence-based interventions to optimise recovery and outcomes
Attend and contribute to MDT meetings for integrated care planning
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and reports
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid HCPC registration
Previous leadership experience in an inpatient surgical setting
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and service development
This role offers flexible working arrangements. Availability is required Monday to Friday, with part-time options considered. The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
