GP Surgery Pharmacist – Northampton – Training provided for hospital pharmacists

Job Title: Locum Pharmacist
Location: Northampton (on site needed, no remote)
Hours: 4 long days or 5 days per week (Friday cover essential, flexible start/finish 9am–6pm). Can be flexible on the hours here, any 7.5 hours or longer days will be considered.
Duration: Up to 12 months or longer cover is a possibilty. Ongoing contract. No end date.
Rate:

• GP-experienced pharmacists: £28–£32/hr via LTD
• Hospital pharmacists (training provided): £25–£26/hr via LTD. Training will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conducting medication reviews
• Running clinics (hypertension, lipid management, vaccinations)
• Supporting research and specialist clinics (Yellow Fever, weight management, COVID vaccination)
• Working closely with GP partners, registrars, and other pharmacists

Requirements & Qualifications:

• GPhC-registered pharmacist
• GP experience preferred but not essential – hospital pharmacists encouraged to apply
• Experience in medication reviews, chronic disease management, or clinical pharmacy beneficial
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
