As a Clinical Trials Pharmacist, you will play a key role in the management and delivery of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting the advancement of innovative treatments. Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Overseeing the set-up, dispensing, and management of investigational medicinal products (IMPs)
✔ Ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and MHRA regulations
✔ Collaborating with research teams, sponsors, and clinicians to ensure smooth trial operations
✔ Providing expert pharmaceutical advice on trial protocols and medication safety
✔ Managing trial documentation, drug accountability, and audit readiness
✔ Training and supporting pharmacy staff involved in clinical trials
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
✔ GPhC registration (active and in good standing)
✔ Previous experience in clinical trials or investigational medicines
✔ A strong understanding of GCP, MHRA, and regulatory compliance
✔ Excellent organisational and communication skills
✔ The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
