• Job Title: Pharmacy Dispenser
• Location: Birmingham – NHS Hospital
• Duration: 4 months (with strong possibility of extension)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: 4 months from start
• Rate of Pay: £16.00 per hour (paid via umbrella company)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join a busy hospital outpatient pharmacy team and play an important role in ensuring patients receive their medications safely and efficiently. In this role, you will:
dispense medications accurately for outpatient prescriptions
support pharmacists with prescription processing and supply
ensure medicines are labelled and issued correctly
maintain organised and accurate dispensing records
work closely with the wider pharmacy team to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (essential)
previous dispensing experience in a pharmacy setting
strong attention to detail and accuracy
good communication and teamwork skills
the ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
Hospital experience is beneficial but not essential.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role requires Monday to Friday availability, working 9:00am – 5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break (40 hours per week). The contract is for 4 months, with a strong possibility of extension depending on service needs and performance.
