Locum Histology Associate Practitioner (Band 4) – East London

• Job Title: Histology Associate Practitioner Band 4
• Location: East London
• Duration: 3-month rolling contract
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate of Pay: £14 – 16 per hour DOE (umbrella equivalent)

What You’ll Be Doing: Join our team as an Associate Practitioner and contribute to providing excellent diagnostic services. In this role, you will:

• Assist with sample collection, processing, and preparation for diagnostic testing
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis
• Microtomy
• Work closely with senior practitioners to maintain high standards of laboratory procedures
• Support in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality service delivery

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong Histology experience 
• Experience in microtomy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to delivering high-quality laboratory services
• Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 months with a rolling renewal, subject to performance and service needs.
