Locum Band 6 Physiotherapist – Upper Limb / Shoulder & Elbow

🕒 30 hours per week (potential for 37.5 hours)

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join a well-supported team working across the Shoulder and Elbow Service. This role combines outpatient upper limb clinics with inpatient rehabilitation, managing patients with chronic and complex musculoskeletal presentations.

The Role

You will provide expert physiotherapy care to patients with long-term musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing and managing patients with complex shoulder and elbow conditions
• Developing and implementing rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs
• Supporting both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation programmes
• Working closely with the MDT to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
• Applying advanced rehabilitation skills to optimise function and long-term recovery

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
• Band 6 experience, ideally in musculoskeletal or upper limb physiotherapy
• Strong rehabilitation skills and interest in long-term musculoskeletal care
• Excellent MDT and communication skills
