What You’ll Be Doing:

Join the Acute Medicine/Orthopaedics team in Oxford and make a positive impact on patient recovery. In this role, the successful candidate will:

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to acute medical and orthopaedic patients.
• Carry out comprehensive assessments to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to maximize their independence and functional ability.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and contribute to discharge planning.
• Use evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for patients across the acute and orthopaedic wards.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments and treatment plans.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in acute medicine and/or orthopaedic settings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to high standards of patient care and a patient-centred approach to therapy.
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours depending on availability.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role is full-time, with flexible working options available for part-time candidates. The role requires an ASAP start and is ongoing, with the potential for extension based on service needs and performance.
