• Job Title: Mental Health Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
• Location: Essex
• Duration: Minimum 6 months (Ongoing)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
• Start Date: March 2025
• Rate of Pay: £27 – £37 per hour (depending on experience)

Join our team as a Mental Health Pharmacist and make a real difference in the lives of patients on mental health wards. Your core responsibilities include:
• Providing clinical pharmacy support for mental health wards.
• Conducting medicines reconciliation and drug chart screening.
• Offering medication advice and support to patients on the wards.
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize medication use for mental health patients.
• Supporting pharmacy technicians and ATO staff with medication reviews and checking duties.
• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
• Previous hospital ward experience required (Mental health experience is not essential).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
This role offers a flexible working position with a Monday to Friday schedule (9am – 5:30pm). The contract is for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and service needs.
