Are you a Band 7 Pharmacist looking for an opportunity to secure a cancer services locum role in an NHS hospital? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

• Job Title: Pharmacist – Onc/Haem (Band 7)
• Location: NHS Hospital
• Duration: Ongoing locum contract
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00 (30-minute break)
• Start Date: ASAP (March/April)
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £30-£37 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our client’s team as a Band 7 Pharmacist and play a key role in providing expert pharmaceutical care in an NHS hospital setting. In this role, you will:

• Screen oral chemotherapy medications
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team in an oncology/haematology department
• Provide specialist advice on cancer treatment and medication safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital guidelines

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid GPhC registration
• Hospital pharmacy experience (oncology/haematology experience preferred but not required)
• BOPA SACT passport (ideal but not essential)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00), with flexibility for part-time candidates who have prior oncology/haematology experience. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
