Pharmacist required – Outpatients – West London

Job Details:

• Job Title: Outpatient Pharmacist (Band 6)
• Location: West London – NHS Hospital
• Duration: 3-6 months (possibility of extension)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Start Date: April onwards
• Rate of Pay: £23 – £26 per hour (PAYE Direct Engagement)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as an Outpatient Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of NHS patients. In this role, you will:
✔ Dispense and check prescriptions in an outpatient hospital setting
✔ Ensure safe and effective use of medicines in line with NHS guidelines
✔ Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
✔ Offer expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare professionals
✔ Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital pharmacy standards

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
✔ A current and valid GPhC registration
✔ Prior outpatient or inpatient dispensary experience
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ The ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This flexible locum role requires availability Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The contract is for 3-6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
