Locum Pharmacy Assistant – NHS Hospital (Hertfordshire)

Hunter AHP are seeking a Locum Pharmacy Assistant to join a NHS Hospital Pharmacy team in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced NHS pharmacy assistants and those from a community background looking to step into the hospital sector. Full NHS training will be provided for community applicants.
Role Details:
Start: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (no weekend work)
Pay: £15–£16 per hour, paid weekly every Friday
Duration: Ongoing locum contract
Key Duties:
Supporting the dispensary team, primarily in taking in prescriptions
Assisting with general pharmacy duties to ensure smooth workflow
Working collaboratively within the hospital pharmacy environment
Requirements:
Ideally, candidates will have NHS experience and hold an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services
However, community pharmacy applicants are strongly encouraged to apply – full NHS training provided
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
