Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (with 30-minute break)

About the Role:
Hunter AHP is partnering with an NHS hospital in Birmingham to find a Pharmacy Assistant to join their team on an ongoing contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy assistant with an NVQ2 qualification to work in a dynamic hospital environment. You will be able to choose which 3 days per week you work, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pharmacists in the safe and effective dispensing of medication
  • Assist with stock management, inventory control, and medication orders
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
  • Help maintain accurate patient records
  • Assist with general pharmacy operations and administrative duties

Skills & Experience Required:

  • NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services (required)
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
