Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Band 4 or Band 5)
Location: Near Doncaster – NHS Hospital
Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
Start Date: ASAP, June 2025
End Date: 3 months from start, potential to extend
Rate of Pay: £16 – £21 per hour DOE (paid via PAYE)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our NHS client’s team as a Pharmacy Technician in the busy inpatient dispensary department at a large NHS Hospital. In this role, you will:
Support the dispensary with accurate and efficient dispensing of medications
Work alongside pharmacists and healthcare professionals
Maintain high standards of patient safety and record keeping
Contribute to the smooth operation of the inpatient pharmacy service
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Hospital pharmacy experience (preferred for Band 5)
NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)
Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced NHS setting
Note: Non-hospital experienced technicians may be considered for Band 4 only. ACT accreditation is not required. Band 3 applicants will not be considered.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time, on-site role running Monday to Friday. The contract is for an initial 3 months, with potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
