Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (GP Surgery, EMIS experience required)
Location: Leicester (potential remote working)
Duration: 3–6 months+ contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (30 min lunch)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £20ph-£25ph – DOE

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting a busy GP surgery. In this role, you will:
Support medicines management processes within primary care
Carry out medication reviews and ensure safe prescribing practices
Use EMIS to maintain accurate patient records and support clinical workflows
Collaborate with GPs, pharmacists, and wider MDT to optimise patient care
Provide high-quality support to improve efficiency and patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous GP practice experience (essential)
Strong working knowledge of EMIS clinical system
Pharmacy Technician qualification with GPhC registration
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
This role is Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (30 min lunch) with potential remote flexibility. The contract is for 3–6 months with strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
