A Day in the Life of a Clinical Pharmacist: As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in the delivery of safe and effective pharmaceutical care across hospital wards, focusing specifically on oncology. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients and ensuring optimal medication use.
• Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and efficacy.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Providing advice on drug interactions, dosing regimens, and side-effect management.
• Monitoring patients’ responses to medications and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records for compliance with hospital protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience working in hospital wards, particularly in oncology.
• Current and valid GPhC registration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is essential.

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a full-time, ongoing contract with standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute break each day. The position requires an ASAP start, and is ideal for someone ready to contribute immediately.
