• Job Title: Primary Care Pharmacy Technician
• Location: Remote (UK-based GP Surgery)
• Duration: 4 months
• Schedule: 4–5 days per week, flexible hours (e.g., 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join a Primary Care GP Surgery team as a remote Pharmacy Technician and support safe and effective medicines management. In this role, you will:
support medication reviews and medicines optimisation for patients
process repeat prescription requests and medication queries
assist with medicines reconciliation following hospital discharge
review and update patient medication records using EMIS
liaise with GPs, pharmacists, and practice staff regarding prescribing queries
ensure safe prescribing practices and support medication safety initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
Primary Care or GP Surgery experience
Experience using EMIS
Smartcard access
ideally have EMIS access already set up on your own PC for remote work
strong communication skills and attention to detail
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers flexible working hours, with availability required 4–5 days per week. The contract is for 4 months, with potential for extension depending on service needs.
