We are seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a busy Local Authority Duty Team in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident OT who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working autonomously within the community.
You will be providing focused functional assessments, supporting residents with physical disabilities, and contributing to timely decision-making and service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, community-based work, and problem-solving on the go.

Pay: Up to £35 per hour (umbrella)
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Schedule:
4 days of community visits (approximately 4 visits per day)
1 office day (Wednesday) for paperwork and team collaboration
Caseload: Duty visits only – focused assessments (30–45 minutes each)
Adaptations: No major adaptations – focused, short-term interventions
Car Required: Yes – essential for community visits
Conduct focused OT assessments to promote independence and functional ability.
Support residents with physical disabilities in the community setting.
Make timely, effective clinical decisions to support service flow.
Liaise with colleagues in social care, health, and housing teams.
Complete accurate, timely documentation and contribute to case discussions on duty days.
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Community experience within a local authority or NHS setting.
Strong understanding of physical disability and functional assessment.
Confident working independently and managing a fast-paced caseload.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
Experience using MOSAIC recording system is highly desirable.
Competitive hourly rate – up to £35 per hour.
