• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (30-minute lunch) 37.5 hours per week required

Join our client’s private hospital pharmacy team as a Superintendent Pharmacist, leading the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services across both clinical and operational areas. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations within the hospital service
Ensuring compliance with GPhC and MHRA standards and all relevant legislation
Supporting governance, SOP implementation, and clinical audits
Providing professional leadership to the pharmacy team and ensuring quality assurance in dispensing practices
Supporting the setup and ongoing management of a new slimming clinic, including reviewing protocols, advising on prescribing and supply processes, and ensuring patient safety
Assisting with dispensing and verification of online prescription deliveries
Liaising with prescribers and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care
Driving continuous improvement and service development within the pharmacy
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Current GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
Previous experience as a Superintendent, Chief, or Lead Pharmacist (hospital experience highly desirable)
Strong understanding of GPhC and MHRA regulations
Experience supporting clinical service setup (e.g. slimming/weight management clinics advantageous)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
