Key Responsibilities:

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients in the surgical and respiratory units.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote recovery and independence.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation goals.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with NHS standards.(Reed, hg-ahp.com)

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Current and valid HCPC registration.

  • Proven experience in occupational therapy within surgical and/or respiratory settings.

  • Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
