• Job Title: Locum Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
• Location: Berkshire
• Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (30-minute lunch)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £23–£30 per hour (depending on banding and experience)

Join our team as a Locum Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients across medical and surgical wards. In this role, you will:
• perform comprehensive medicines reviews and patient assessments
• create and implement evidence-based pharmaceutical care plans
• deliver clinical input to optimise therapeutic outcomes
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on wards and in the dispensary
• maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• a current and valid GPhC registration
• hospital experience, including work on medical/surgical wards
• strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• the ability to work independently and within a wider MDT
• a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care
This full-time role requires availability Monday to Friday. The initial contract is for 3 months, with a strong chance of extension based on performance and service requirements.
