Locum Band 3 Histology Medical Laboratory Assistants – Guildford

Position Overview:
Job Title: Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) – Histology
Band: 3
Location: Guildford
Contract Length: Ongoing locum contract
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Full-time, 7.5-hour shifts (excluding lunch)

Shift Patterns May Include:

• 06:30 – 15:30
• 07:30 – 16:30
• 08:30/09:00 – 17:30/18:00
• 10:30 – 19:30 (TBC)

Role Requirements:

• Previous Histology experience is highly desirable
• Candidates with broader Pathology laboratory experience will also be considered
• Ability to adapt quickly to departmental workflows
• Comfortable working within a designated operational area rather than rotating across all sections
• Strong teamworking and communication skills
