Are you a Band 6 Histology BMS looking for a rewarding locum role in the East Midlands? We have an exciting opportunity within a busy Histology laboratory!

Position Overview:
Job Title: Biomedical Scientist – Histology
Banding: Band 6
Location: East Midlands
Duration: ASAP – 01/07/2026 – to be review for extension
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: Core hours
Pay Rate: £26ph Umbrella equivalent
 

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist with minimum 2 years Histology-specific experience
  • Fully competent in microtomy
  • Ability to cut a minimum of 30 blocks per hour
