Pharmacy Technician – Remote GP Surgery | Immediate Start

Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-Time

Hunter Gatherer AHP are recruiting for experienced Pharmacy Technicians with GP Surgery or Primary Care experience to join a busy remote clinical team on an ongoing locum basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians looking to work fully remotely while supporting GP practices with a variety of medicines optimisation and administrative duties.

The Role

• Fully remote working
• Monday to Friday
• Immediate start available
• Minimum 3-month contract with potential extension
• Competitive hourly rate of £16–£19 per hour (Umbrella / Ltd Company)

Responsibilities

• Processing Docman workflow and clinical correspondence
• Medicines reconciliation following hospital discharge
• Supporting QOF and long-term condition work
• Managing repeat prescription requests
• Prescription synchronisation and medication queries
• Actioning pathology-related medication tasks
• Medicines optimisation support
• Medicines recalls and monitoring
• Administrative support for the clinical pharmacy team
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Working closely with GPs, Clinical Pharmacists and wider MDT

Requirements

• Previous GP Surgery or Primary Care Pharmacy Technician experience is essential
• ACT qualification desirable but not essential
• Experience using EMIS Web or SystmOne
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Able to work independently in a remote environment
• GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician
