We're recruiting two experienced Independent Prescribing Pharmacists to join two busy GP practices in West London. These are excellent long-term locum opportunities for pharmacists who can hit the ground running in a primary care setting.

Both roles are fully on-site with free parking available and offer regular weekday sessions, with Saturday work also available for those looking for additional hours.

The Role

• Independent Prescribing Pharmacist
• 2–3 regular weekdays per week
• Optional Saturdays available (9:00am–5:00pm)
• 9:00am–5:00pm working day
• Immediate start
• Ongoing contracts (minimum 3 months)
• £30–£36 per hour (Ltd Company)

Duties

• Structured medication reviews
• Long-term condition management
• Running and interpreting clinical searches to identify patients requiring reviews (e.g. diabetes, CKD and other chronic disease areas)
• Processing clinical documents and medication changes
• Managing GP practice prescribing workload
• Working closely with GPs and the wider MDT

Essential Requirements

• Independent Prescriber qualification
• Strong GP practice experience
• Confident using EMIS Web and SystmOne
• Experience running clinical searches and managing patient recall work
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
