Hunter Gatherer AHP are currently recruiting for a Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an Integrated Care Team within a Recovery Hub based in West Yorkshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a varied and rewarding locum role. The successful candidate will work across a bed-based service, local hospitals and the community, supporting patients through their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary Integrated Care Team, helping to promote independence, support recovery and facilitate safe and effective discharge planning. The service is looking for someone who can start ASAP and confidently manage a varied caseload.

Schedule: Flexible Hours Available – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered
Night Shifts: Option to work one night per week, 11pm–7am, if desired
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience

Working as part of an Integrated Care Team within a Recovery Hub
Managing a varied Occupational Therapy caseload across multiple settings
Working within a bed-based service
Completing community visits as part of the role
Travelling to local hospitals where required
Completing comprehensive functional and occupational assessments
Supporting patients through their recovery and rehabilitation journey
Assessing patients’ ability to safely complete activities of daily living
Developing and implementing personalised rehabilitation plans
Promoting independence and maximising patients’ functional ability
Supporting safe and timely discharge planning
Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team
Providing advice and support to patients, families and carers
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
Previous experience working at Band 6 level, or strong relevant experience
Experience within Integrated Care, Intermediate Care, Rehabilitation, Community or Discharge Planning services is desirable
Confident managing a varied caseload across different settings
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
