Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist – North West London!
Hunter Gatherer AHP is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an acute hospital team in North West London. This is an ongoing locum opportunity for an OT with recent acute hospital experience.

Rate of Pay: £27–£29 per hour

Working within an acute hospital setting as part of a multidisciplinary team
Managing a varied caseload independently in a fast-paced environment
Supporting effective discharge planning
Assessing and recommending appropriate equipment
Completing simple wheelchair prescriptions
Providing manual handling advice and support
Managing difficult conversations with patients, relatives and the wider MDT
Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
HCPC registration
Approximately 2 years of recent acute hospital Occupational Therapy experience
Strong experience with discharge planning
Experience in equipment provision and recommendations
Competency in simple wheelchair prescriptions
Good knowledge and practical experience of manual handling
Confidence managing and leading difficult conversations with patients, relatives and the wider MDT
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced hospital environment
