Hunter Gatherer AHP is urgently recruiting experienced ADHD Clinicians, including Independent Prescribing Pharmacists and Nurse Practitioners, to support an established ADHD service on an ongoing locum basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for clinicians experienced in both ADHD assessments and medication prescribing/titration, offering remote working and flexible weekly commitments.
Job Details:
Job Title: ADHD Assessor / Prescriber / Titration Clinician
Location: Fully Remote (initial on-site induction in Herefordshire)
Contract: Locum / Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP / Subject to interview
Days: Ideally 2–2.5 days per week per clinician
Hours: Weekday working, with flexibility around availability
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rates, dependent on experience
Induction: Minimum one day on-site in Herefordshire for IT setup and onboarding, then remote working
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive adult ADHD assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
Initiate, prescribe and titrate ADHD medication in line with clinical guidelines and prescribing competencies.
Complete medication reviews, monitor treatment responses and manage side effects.
Provide ongoing ADHD treatment and follow-up consultations.
Maintain accurate clinical records and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
Manage a regular caseload of adult ADHD patients.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Pharmacist Independent Prescriber or Nurse Practitioner with relevant prescribing qualifications.
Demonstrable experience conducting adult ADHD assessments.
Strong experience prescribing and titrating ADHD medication.
Ability to independently manage ADHD patients through assessment and ongoing treatment.
Excellent clinical communication and documentation skills.
Strong professional references from previous ADHD clinical roles.
Availability for a minimum of 2 days per week preferred.
Willingness to attend an initial face-to-face induction in Herefordshire.
Please note: Applicants must have experience in BOTH ADHD assessments and medication prescribing/titration. Unfortunately, candidates with titration-only experience cannot be considered for this position.
