Role: Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
Location: London – NHS Hospital
Contract: Ongoing (Long-term locum)

Working Days: Choose between 3, 4 or 5 days per week – flexible to suit you
Hourly Rate: £15 – £20 (dependent on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be a key player in the pharmacy team, helping ensure patients receive safe and effective treatment. Expect a varied and hands-on role that may include:
Dispensing medications and checking prescriptions
Supporting medicine safety initiatives across departments
Handling stock control and ensuring adequate supply levels
Participating in clinical duties such as final accuracy checking (ACT)
Liaising with nursing, pharmacy, and medical staff
Keeping meticulous records and supporting audits
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
✔ Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) – essential
✔ Previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy environment
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a wider team
✔ A proactive approach to improving patient outcomes
