About the Role:
Hunter AHP is currently seeking a highly skilled Aseptic Pharmacist to join a leading NHS hospital in Worcestershire. This is an ongoing full-time contract, requiring 5 days per week, with a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will have previous aseptic pharmacy experience and a passion for delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense aseptic products, including chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, and other sterile medications.
• Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques, maintaining the highest standards of practice.
• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness of aseptic preparations.
• Contribute to the safe, efficient, and effective management of the aseptic services within the hospital.
• Support the pharmacy team in the preparation of clinical drug regimens, including chemotherapy and other high-risk drugs.
• Participate in audits, training, and continuous improvement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Previous aseptic pharmacy experience is essential.
• GPhC registration.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and the preparation of sterile products.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow strict procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Full-time availability (5 days per week) for an ongoing contract.
