About the Role:
Hunter AHP is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a well-regarded NHS hospital in Oxfordshire. This is an ongoing contract offering flexible working options (3, 4, or 5 days per week). The successful candidate will have previous clinical pharmacy experience and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services across a variety of wards, ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients.
• Conduct clinical ward rounds and medication reviews, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
• Offer expert advice on drug therapy management, including dosing, interactions, and side effects.
• Monitor and support the safe prescribing and administration of medicines.
• Provide counselling and education to patients on their medications and treatment plans.
• Contribute to audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy team.

Requirements:

• Previous clinical pharmacy experience in an NHS hospital setting is essential.
• GPhC registration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with an ongoing commitment.
