We are currently recruiting for a Band 5 or Band 6 Physiotherapist to join a specialist private neuro rehabilitation service in West Birmingham, working within an outpatient setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Physiotherapist with strong experience and an interest in neurological rehabilitation to join a specialist multidisciplinary team and support patients to maximise their independence, function and quality of life.
You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of neurological conditions within an outpatient rehabilitation environment. You will develop and deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes, working closely with patients, families and the wider MDT to achieve meaningful functional goals.
The role will involve:
Completing comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients with neurological conditions.
Developing and delivering individualised treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
Working on mobility, balance, strength, coordination and functional independence.
Supporting patients with long-term neurological conditions to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Monitoring and evaluating patient progress and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
Working collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Therapy Assistants and other members of the MDT.
Providing education, advice and support to patients and carers.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and completing relevant reports.
HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
Band 5 or Band 6 level experience.
Previous neurological physiotherapy experience is essential.
Previous outpatient rehabilitation experience is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Right to work in the UK.
