Join a well-established MSK interface service as a Band 8a APP Physiotherapist and take a lead role in assessing and managing complex MSK patients. You’ll be responsible for:
Independent assessment and management of complex MSK presentations
Arranging and interpreting appropriate diagnostics (imaging, blood tests)
Presenting cases at MDT meetings
Escalating patients to secondary care as needed
Screening for red flags and applying POLCE principles
Optional: Performing joint injections (if trained)
You’ll work within a collaborative interface service (e.g., CATS) and contribute to high-quality, patient-centred care.
HCPC registration
Experience as an MSK APP clinician, ideally in an interface/CATS setting
IRMER trained (required)
Skilled in requesting and interpreting diagnostics
Awareness of secondary care pathways and referral protocols
Injection competency desirable but not essential
Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
This is a flexible full-time role (Mon–Fri) with an ongoing contract and a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service demand.
