• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (9:00am – 5:00pm, 30 mins lunch)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our client's team as an Information Governance Manager and play a key role in leading and strengthening IG practices across the organisation. In this role, you will:

• lead on information governance strategy, policy development, and compliance
• oversee and redesign IG approval processes where required
• liaise with external bodies including the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
• provide expert guidance on data protection, confidentiality, and information security
• deputise for the Head of Information Governance when required
• work closely with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• CIPP/E qualification and other relevant Information Governance certifications
• extensive experience in a senior IG role within the NHS or corporate environment
• strong leadership and managerial experience at Band 8a level
• proven experience in policy development and process improvement
• ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
• in-depth knowledge of UK data protection and information governance frameworks

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week). The contract is for 10–11 weeks with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
