Locum Clinical Pharmacist – NHS Hospital – Liverpool – £28–£37/hour – ASAP Start

Location: Liverpool
Rate: £28 to £37 per hour (dependent on experience, paid weekly via umbrella)
Contract Type: Locum – Ongoing Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hunter AHP have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital in Liverpool as a Locum. This is a great chance to work in a clinical setting across various wards, including General Medicine, Surgery, and Care of the Elderly (COTE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy support to inpatient wards

  • Medicines reconciliation and discharge planning

  • Review and optimise prescriptions to ensure safe and effective use of medicines

  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to ward rounds

  • Ensure compliance with hospital guidelines and national standards

Requirements:

  • Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacist

  • Recent hospital experience, ideally covering General Medical, Surgical, or Elderly wards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team

  • Available to start immediately and commit to a Monday–Friday schedule
