Locum Clinical Pharmacist – NHS Hospital – Hertfordshire – Band 7/8a
Hunter AHP have a brilliant opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to join a large NHS hospital service in Hertfordshire. This is a full-time locum position, ideal for pharmacists with prior hospital experience looking to expand their clinical knowledge in a dynamic and supportive team.
Job Details:
Role: Clinical Pharmacist – Band 7 or 8a (depending on experience)
Location: NHS Hospital, Hertfordshire
Contract: Locum – Ongoing
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: £27–£36 per hour (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP
Duties:
Clinical ward-based work across a range of specialties including Care of the Elderly (COTE), general medical, and surgical wards
Medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, patient reviews, and liaising with the MDT
Supporting the pharmacy team with clinical duties across the hospital
Requirements:
GPhC-registered pharmacist
Prior hospital experience (ideally clinical ward-based)
Band 7 or 8a experience preferred
