A fantastic opportunity has just opened at a leading NHS hospital in Hertfordshire for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7–8a). Whether you’re after a few days a week or full-time hours, this role offers flexibility, great rates, and the chance to make a real impact.

Location: NHS Hospital, Hertfordshire
Contract Length: Ongoing (with potential to extend)
Working Pattern: 3–5 days per week – your choice!
Hourly Rate: £28 – £37 DOE

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you’ll support patient care and drive safe, effective use of medicines:
Reviewing inpatient prescriptions & optimising therapies
⚕️ Providing clinical input on wards across various specialties
Leading medicines reconciliation and discharge planning
Supporting junior staff and contributing to service improvement
✅ Ensuring compliance with national guidelines & hospital policy
✔ GPhC registration
✔ Prior NHS hospital experience (Band 7 or 8a level)
✔ Confident working independently on inpatient wards
✔ Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
