Locum Band 6 Pharmacist – NHS Hospital – Oxford – Training Provided

 

Hunter AHP have an exciting new opportunity for a Band 6 Pharmacist to join a highly regarded NHS hospital service in Oxford. This is a fantastic role for newly qualified or early-career pharmacists looking to gain experience in a hospital setting, with full training provided and excellent opportunities for rapid progression.

This is an ongoing locum position with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate. The service is open to pharmacists available 3, 4, or 5 days per week.

 

Key Details:

  • Role: Locum Band 6 Pharmacist

  • Location: NHS Hospital, Oxford

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract: Ongoing, with potential to go permanent

  • Schedule: 3, 4, or 5 days per week – Monday to Friday

  • Working Hours: 9am – 5pm (negotiable)

  • Hourly Rate: £24 – £28 per hour (dependent on experience)

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting inpatient and/or outpatient pharmacy services

  • Carrying out clinical screening and dispensing duties

  • Working closely with the wider pharmacy team to ensure safe, effective use of medicines

  • Participating in training and development sessions

  • Building your clinical knowledge in a structured and supportive environment
