We are looking for an experienced Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist to support a GP practice in Leicester with short-term cover throughout September/October.
The service is happy to consider either an on-site Pharmacist or somebody working fully remotely.
Key duties will include:
Medication reviews / SMRs
Blood pressure management
Cholesterol management
Acute medication queries where required
Discharge letter and medication reconciliation
RED Eclipse monitoring
Supporting the Pharmacy Technician with more complex DOAC reviews
Diabetes reviews/knowledge highly desirable
Requirements:
GPhC registered Pharmacist
Independent Prescriber
Previous GP/Primary Care experience
Confident using SystmOne
Comfortable independently managing medication reviews and clinical pharmacy workload
Diabetes experience advantageous
Potential for the assignment to start earlier and/or extend beyond the initial four weeks.
