• Job Title: Independent Prescribing Pharmacist (GP Surgery)
• Location: Stratford, East London
• Duration: Long-term ongoing
• Schedule: 20 hours per week (5 hours per day across 4 weekdays)
• Start Date: Immediate (initial cover required Wednesday & Thursday this week)
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £33 – £35 per hour (DOE, via LTD)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join a GP surgery team as an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist and play a key role in supporting primary care services. In this role, you will:

• sign and authorise prescriptions
• carry out drug monitoring and medication reviews
• support medicines management within the practice
• work collaboratively with GPs and the wider MDT
• ensure safe and effective prescribing for patients

Working Pattern & Flexibility:

• Immediate short-term cover required Wednesday and Thursday this week
• Ongoing role of 20 hours per week (5 hours per day across 4 weekdays)
• On-site initially, with strong potential for the role to become remote after a short period

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• Independent Prescriber qualification
• prior GP surgery / primary care experience
• experience using EMIS
• strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position with a consistent 20 hours per week. The contract is long-term ongoing with strong potential for extension and remote working.
