Hunter AHP have an exciting opportunity for a Locum PICU Pharmacist to join a prestigious private hospital in London!
Role details:
Position: Locum Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) Pharmacist
Setting: Private Hospital – PICU Unit
Location: London
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3-month ongoing
Hourly Rate: £34 to £37 per hour, depending on experience
Key Requirements:
GPhC-registered Pharmacist
Proven experience in paediatric pharmacy, specifically within PICU or intensive care settings
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently within a fast-paced hospital environment
Duties include:
Providing specialist pharmaceutical care to paediatric patients within the intensive care unit
Supporting the multidisciplinary team with clinical ward rounds
Ensuring safe and effective medication management in line with current guidelines
Advising on paediatric dosing, IV preparations, and TPN
Contributing to medicines reconciliation and discharge planning
Supporting junior pharmacy staff as needed
