Locum Occupational Therapist (Band 6) – Urgent Response Team – North London

Hunter Gatherer AHP is currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join an Urgent Response OT Team in North London, starting in November.

This is a fast-paced service providing predominantly moving and handling assessments and supporting residents who require immediate occupational therapy intervention.

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:15pm, Friday 9:00am–5:00pm

  • Working Pattern: Full-time only – reduced or condensed hours cannot be considered

  • Working Arrangement: Hybrid – one day per week in the office

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Completing moving and handling assessments

  • Providing urgent occupational therapy interventions

  • Responding to urgent referrals and visits across the borough

  • Participating in the duty rota, with one duty OT day per week

  • Working collaboratively with the wider MDT

  • Supporting residents to remain safe and independent in their own homes

Requirements & Qualifications

  • HCPC registration

  • Previous community OT experience

  • Experience completing moving and handling assessments

  • Experience working within a fast-paced urgent response or community setting

  • Ability to work the full-time hours specified

  • Candidates should ideally live within or close to the area due to the requirement to respond to urgent visits
