• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (30-minute lunch break)

• Rate of Pay: £30–£35 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Locum Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients in a busy GP surgery. In this role, you will:

• Perform medication reviews and patient assessments

• Manage and advise on minor ailments

• Optimise treatment for long-term conditions, including hypertension

• Prescribe independently (IP required)

• Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Accurately maintain patient records using EMIS and SystmOne

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid GPhC registration

• Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification

• Previous experience in a GP surgery or primary care setting

• Confidence using EMIS and SystmOne clinical systems

• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

• A proactive, patient-focused approach

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time locum role, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with a 30-minute lunch break. The contract is ongoing with a strong chance of extension based on performance and service needs.
