Haematology Oncology Ward Pharmacist – Warwickshire
Location: NHS Hospital, Warwickshire

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch)
Availability: Full-time, 5 days per week
Hourly Rate: £28 – £36 per hour (depending on experience)
Hunter AHP are supporting an NHS hospital in Warwickshire to source an experienced Locum Haematology/Oncology Pharmacist for ward-based clinical cover. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a specialist oncology team, contributing directly to patient care in an acute hospital setting.
You’ll be providing expert ward cover within the Oncology and Haematology departments, supporting the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to oncology inpatients.
Clinical pharmacy support on oncology and haematology wards
Screening, verifying, and releasing both oral and IV chemotherapy (SACT)
Counselling patients on chemotherapy regimens and supportive treatments
Collaborating with consultants, nurses, and pharmacy colleagues to optimise outcomes
Ensuring safe and effective use of cytotoxic medication
GPhC-registered Pharmacist with hospital experience
Solid background in Oncology/Haematology pharmacy
Confident in clinical verification and release of SACT
Familiarity with protocols and guidelines for cancer treatment
Strong communication and team-working skills
Competitive hourly rates: £28 – £36 DOE
Long-term locum contract for stability
Monday–Friday working pattern (no weekends!)
