Pharmacy Dispenser – GP Surgery, Yorkshire!

Locum Pharmacy Dispenser – GP Surgery – Yorkshire – £15 – £17/hour

Hunter AHP have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Pharmacy Dispenserto join a supportive GP surgery in Yorkshire.

We’re looking for an NVQ2-qualified dispenser with EMIS experiencewho can commit to full-time hours – Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Prior experience in a GP surgeryis highly desirable.

Duties will include:

• Processing prescriptions using EMIS

• Dispensing medication in line with NHS and surgery protocols

• Stock management, including ordering and checking deliveries

• Providing advice to patients on medication where appropriate

• Supporting the GP and nursing teams with medicine-related queries

• Ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to SOPs

• Role: Locum Pharmacy Dispenser

• Setting: GP Surgery

• Location: Yorkshire

• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

• Rate: £15 – £17 per hour (DOE)

• Start Date: Within 4 weeks

• Duration: Ongoing contract

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)

• Experience using EMIS

• Previous GP surgery experience preferred

• 5-day availability (Mon–Fri)
