Job Title: ACT Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
Location: Southampton
Duration: 3 Months Minimum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute break)
Start Date: May 2025
End Date: Ongoing (initial 3-month contract)
Rate of Pay: £18 – £21 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our client’s team as an ACT Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting safe and effective medicines management. In this role, you will:
perform accurate dispensing and final checking of prescriptions
support the wider pharmacy team with operational tasks
manage stock levels and ensure proper medicine storage
work alongside healthcare professionals to ensure safe patient care
maintain accurate documentation and records in line with NHS policy
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
a current and valid ACT qualification
strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
a passion for delivering high-quality patient support
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible working considered. The initial contract is for 3 months, with potential to extend based on performance and service needs.
