Pharmacist or Nurse | Children & Adults ADHD
Location: Fully Remote / WFH
Start: Next week / ASAP
Hours: Circa 10 hours per week initially
Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Hours: Approx. 9am–3pm / around 5 hours per day
Pay: £30 per hour
No prescribing responsibility

We’re working with a specialist ADHD service looking for an experienced Pharmacist or Nurse to support their clinical triage function on a fully remote basis.

This is a non-prescribing position. You’ll be reviewing patient records and clinical reports before patients progress through to the appropriate healthcare professional.

The role

  • Review patient medical records and ADHD reports remotely
  • Clinically triage both adult and paediatric patients
  • Identify any clinical reasons or potential contraindications that may prevent a patient progressing to the next stage
  • Assess whether patients are appropriate to be passed through to the relevant healthcare professional
  • Review relevant medication/prescribing history as part of the triage process
  • Escalate clinical queries or uncertainties to the Prescribing Lead or Consultant Psychiatrist
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • No responsibility for actually prescribing medication

Requirements

You can be either a Pharmacist or Nurse, but must have:

  • Strong ADHD clinical experience
  • Experience/knowledge of ADHD prescribing in both children and adults
  • Good understanding of ADHD medications, prescribing considerations and potential contraindications
  • Confidence reviewing medical records and making clinical triage decisions
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
  • Appropriate UK professional registration

You do not need to prescribe within this role, but you need sufficient prescribing experience/knowledge to understand whether a patient is clinically appropriate to progress.

Hours & Pay

Initially around 10 hours per week, likely split across Tuesdays and Thursdays, approximately 9am–3pm.

£30 per hour.

ASAP start – ideally next week.

A very straightforward remote position for an experienced ADHD clinician looking for a small number of regular weekly hours without taking on direct prescribing responsibility.
