We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics Sonographer for an immediate, high-reward locum placement on the Island of Jersey.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical team, you will deliver high-quality, independent diagnostic ultrasound services across all stages of antenatal care. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified sonographer looking for an island placement with excellent pay and initial accommodation support fully funded by the recruiting unit.
Perform independent obstetric ultrasound examinations across all stages of antenatal care.
Produce clear, precise, and accurate diagnostic reports independently.
Critically evaluate scan findings and make appropriate clinical recommendations.
Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and support within the multidisciplinary care team.
Essential:
Ultrasound Qualification: Post Graduate Certificate (Obstetrics), Post Graduate Diploma, or MSc in Medical Ultrasound.
FMF Accreditation: Certificate of Competence in Nuchal Translucency Scanning (Fetal Medicine Foundation / King's College London).
Clinical Experience: Proven background working within a UK healthcare environment, with demonstrated clinical training, supervisory, or mentoring skills.
Desirable:
Recognised Teaching Certificate.
Weeks 1–4: Accommodation costs are fully covered by the recruiting unit.
Week 5 Onwards: Standard agency accommodation options apply (confirmed directly via Central Accommodation Services upon room allocation).
